Since moving to Dunedin, quite a few vintage and pre-loved clothing stores closed down, so I was super excited to spy that Paper Bag Princess was re-opening this week! I headed along to the re-launch, grabbed a drink, and did what I do best. Shop! I was impressed with the fresh new look, fresh stock, beautiful displays throughout and friendly staff. The prices feel much more affordable, I had to double take on some price tags. There is no vintage section like the last store, but there are definitely some gems sprinkled up and down stairs. I photographed some favourites below…
Staff: Trina, Lynne and Natalie
Just the right amount of stock on the racks, no more muscles needed to pull apart the clothes to see what’s inside.
How romantic as Bonnie and Clyde tried to made a break for freedom with Clyde throwing himself at front window pane. Bonnie was impressed with his effort, but there will be no running off into the sunset tonight. The love story continues…
Debbie the new owner and princess herself!
My 3 fave picks!
You can find Paper Bag Princess Dunedin at 26 Hanover Street.
