It’s the Queens birthday, so this week I thought, why not feature this amazing crown made by Lunacoon !! Lunacoon is a small New Zealand based millinery run by the creative ‘Eden Fallende-Sno’ who makes offbeat, recycled hand crafted hats.
You can find Lunacoon at the OUSA Markets and she even makes custom, so if you have some fabrics and styles in mind, flick her a message on FB. I really love that about buying local, the fact that the designers themselves are easily accessible to collaborate in designing your dream piece and helping your vision come to reality.

This cute purple paisley peter-pan dress (say that 3 times fast) is from one of my FAVE vintage clothing shops called Kings Emporium found in Herbert, just a few mins drive from Oamaru. You can also rummage through Elizabeth’s vast vintage collection when she brings it into Dunedin for The Vintage Roundup – held every 3-4 months in town. We love her collection of ‘hard to find’ 60’s/70s dresses + more !!
This mesmerising galaxy ring is from The Cuckoo’s Nest ‘Geekery’ collection. Featuring photos taken form the Hubble Telescope !!
Oh yeah and this gorgeous silky overcoat is a 1960s-70s dressing gown. Who says it should only be worn around the house. Break those rules people.
