Wow, that wraps a whole year of shooting my daughter Nova in fun, colourful and sometime crazy, pre-loved, vintage, gifted and locally crafted treasures! Like any new skill or project you begin, the series definitely improved with practice! It’s been a constantly evolving challenge for a brand new mum. The photoshoot journey has sure been full of
This is the 2nd time we’ve let Nova run rampant around the obliteration room but this time with a good camera in hand and in a tutu. The first time we visited she ran around in circles for about an hour squealing in excitement with her friend Nimi (2yrs) following chase. (It really is that awesome!) You get given a sheet of stickers when you arrive to stick around the room, but instead of Nova sticking them around the room, the room decided to
The past 3 months have been full of wonderful firsts! First crawling on all fours, first standing up alone, first words, first foods, first trip in a plane, first holiday, first time meeting lots of family, first swim, first spa, first babysitter, first mouthful of sand. And cause parenting is a roller coaster, we had some not so wonderful firsts: First time we had a chocking episode where

Or not so yay as you try to solve the rolling whilst mid-photoshoot, rolling whilst mid-nappy change and rolling from one side of the room to the other within seconds, out of sight, (panic) but usually found safely under the
Over the past 3 months I’ve been having a blast dressing up my daughter Nova and shooting her outfits for the blog. Well actually the first month was quite tricky as I had never dressed a baby before and didn’t realise how difficult it was! She was so tiny and delicate that I felt like I might break her wee arms trying to squish them into tiny arm holes. A few times I must’ve popped her into something too small and had to call the husband for help to get her back out. If he wasn’t home I would’ve resorted cutting her out with scissors like they do in the
